Did you have marmalade with your toast for breakfast? This 19th century stoneware marmalade pot, printed with 'James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade,

This is one of my very favourite finds! The colourful version of the marmalade story is that James bought a shipment of over ripe oranges from Seville Spain and his wife, Janet made marmalade out of them. Keiller & Sons' orange marmalade has been my favorite for years. The taste is sweet but not too sweet with a hint of the bitterness of the orange peel. There is really nothing else like it available as it is truly a unique and delicious treat on my morning toast - with or without peanut butter.
